Many thanks for providing the evening entertainment for our wedding on 16th September 2011. We weren't sure whether having a wedding singer would work, however, we were pleasantly surprised with how well it went. The singing sessions were brilliant, the disco had plently of people on the dance floor which was great and the lighting was excellent.
In addition, you were very accommodating with our selection of African music, with having to change our first dance choice of music at the last minute and you even played further music from a disc you were handed during the course of the evening.
Anyone's wedding day is a very special occasion and the evening entertainment is crucial in making the day special. You certainly did that and many of our guests were very impressed, and are still talking about it. So thank you very much for your professionalism and for a very enjoyable, and memorable day.

In his live music setsThe Wedding Singer travels through four decades of some of the best and most well-known pop, chart, soul, disco, motown, rat pack and love songs. His main aim is to make sure every guest has a great wedding party and dances until they drop! Also, James can provide you with perfect ambient background music as you and your guests dine or enjoy your drinks reception - the best in jazz, swing, easy listening and love songs. The concentration on live vocals in his live music sets means that James can achieve the best sound possible. A live band run the risk of sounding poor unless every member is a 100% competent player. Their sound is also less versatile as many live instruments such as brass and drums are unable to play at quieter volumes. Full bands also need a larger and more complex PA system which is both difficult and time consuming to set up and, if configured incorrectly, can sound poor and ruin your special evening. James' use of backing tracks means that he can concentrate on getting his vocal sound as perfect as possible. His backing tracks are of the highest digital quality and feature real musicians playing real instruments - they are note perfect every time! He can accurately recreate your favourite songs at a fraction of the cost of a live band. Listen to wedding music samples featuring James' vocals on the demos page. Book The Wedding Singerand you can get live music and an, integrated, professional disco set-upfor as little as £620!See the wedding DJ costs page for full price details.James has access to an array of top quality sound equipment which will be specifically tailored to the size and nature of your reception. He is especially suitable for small to medium-sized receptions of up to about 300 guests. James' set-up is simple, yet effective and is based around his £5000 German-made HK Audio Elements line array speaker system. James' set-up can be completely erected in under an hour delivering a crystal clear, natural sound. This coupled with an extensive lighting rig, containing both stage and effects lighting, helps to bring your reception to life providing you and all of your guests a superb, unforgettable show! |
I just wanted to say a massive thank you for providing such great entertainment at our wedding reception on the 10th September 2011. My biggest wish for the day was that all our family and friends have an excellent party and we owe that in large part to you for your brilliant vocals and DJ-ing.
We had a few hiccups on the day with other things so I was really grateful that I never had a single worry where you were concerned and that I could completely leave it with you. I had guests commenting to me after that when they heard a song they liked playing that they went up to dance and realised you were actually singing it, amazing! It's a sure sign of a great time when guests don't want to get off the dancefloor!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to any future bride and groom for their big day. Thank you so much again.

In between his singing sets, James is also your DJ. James carries an extensive song library and you are welcome to make song requests both on and before your big day. If a 3G data signal is available at your venue James can even download requests he doesn't already have! The disco sections of the evening feature a mixture of some of the best music from the last 40 years and James happy dipping into any genre - 60's, 70's, Motown, Soul, 80's, 90's, Rock, Indie upto the latest Chart, Dance and R'n'B. The Wedding Singer philosophy is simple; get as many people on the dance floor as possible and James is proud of his ability to know what tracks to play, and when to play them, to get as many people dancing as possible. Weddingsare unique as functions in that their guests can be aged anywhere from 0 to 100! James has the advantage of having more wedding experience than most DJ's because of his total specialisation in this wedding field. The Wedding Singer's discoutilises top quality sound and lighting equipment incorporating the latest DMX controlled LED and laser lighting technology to keep the dance floor busy all night long.Employing The Wedding Singer disco as a part of your wedding music package saves the hassle of hiring and dealing with a separate wedding DJ and means only one set of equipment at your reception making James' set-up especially suitable for small to medium-sized venues where space is at a premium. |
