He was, quite simply, fantastic. Countless guests said how brilliant he was and he was in our view worth every penny.

We had James for our vow renewal service in Essex.

Well where do I start.... James made the day even more perfect. His communication before the event and his friendly manner on the day was second to none.

OH WOW his voice it's unbelievable. I wanted him to sing Nadine, as my name is Nadine, by Chuck Berry when I made my way down the aisle.

Sorry Chuck but Jamie really did sing it better and it made me cry just before I went in. That song has always been special to me as my parents bought it when I was 4 years old it's sentimental

That beautiful powerful voice WOW and WOW even doing the DJ bit at night he sang old songs and new. I think I like James Uptown Funk better than the original.

His eclectic taste in music blends with everyone he mixes it up his voice then CDs his arrangements were spot on.

He's friendly, warm, welcoming and all the things you need at your wedding, I am very very proud of him.

He is a great singer and has a wide repertoire, but also knows how to play music which keeps everyone on their feet.

A really enjoyable mixture of all types of music which kept our dance floor full from start to finish.

He catered to our brief perfectly, responded to guest requests and is a very engaging performer.

The music was one of the things I was most worried about leading up to the wedding day, as it can be difficult to judge how good performers are from online videos, but I honestly can't recommend James highly enough.

He made our night so enjoyable.

I had reservations about booking a singer I had never watched first hand, but oh my gosh James - you are AMAZING!

Everyone was dancing all night and I didn't get off the dance floor, which is exactly where the bride should be!!

I didn't believe reviews about people thinking a song was playing when you were singing but it's absolutely true and so many of my guests said it too. A true entertainer - just fab!!!!

Wow wow wow!!!!! We booked James after listening to his demos and hours of trawling through the Internet looking for our perfect wedding singer that would fit in with our style of wedding and music taste of predominantly my husband and I, but also with our guests in mind .

I was excited for James to kick start our evening reception by singing our First Dance. However we didn't need to wait that long to hear his spectacular voice - as my parents for a surprise also hired James to sing during our wedding breakfast as desserts were served. This was simply AMAZING and needless to say I didn't sit back down again for the rest of the meal. James was fabulous, we got lost in the mood and we just had to get up dancing! He had the wedding breakfast rocking, with guests out of their seats, swinging their napkins and finding space anywhere to dance in between the tables!

This was a perfect end to our wedding breakfast and I'm so glad my parents booked him as a surprise as everyone then couldn't wait to get the evening reception started and back on the Dance floor! JAMES' VOICE BLEW EVERYONE AWAY from start to finish. It has to be said his demos do not do him justice! And his voice live is INCREDIBLE.

He sung our first dance beautifully and from then on had the dance floor rocking all night long! We along with our guests just didn't want the night to end! And we will keep with us some very fond memories from our special day that James helped to create.

If we were to ever have a big party/celebration again there's only JAMES BARLOW that we would want!

We would highly recommended James to anyone, to add that fun personal spark to your celebrations!

We weren't sure whether having a wedding singer would work, however, we were pleasantly surprised with how well it went. The singing sessions were brilliant, the disco had plently of people on the dance floor which was great and the lighting was excellent.

In addition, you were very accommodating with our selection of African music, with having to change our first dance choice of music at the last minute and you even played further music from a disc you were handed during the course of the evening.

We feel that his service was excellent value for money; indeed James even tried to convince us to alter our plans slightly so it would end up costing us less (not often a wedding supplier does that!)

On the day James was punctual and smart; and was able to setup in our venue very quickly - which was impressive given it was his first visit to the site.

Most importantly his performance was excellent. His choice of songs to sing and play was exactly to our taste - despite having given him few clues in advance! Our guests commented on how professional his performance was. We could often not tell the difference between James and the original artist.

James provided an amazing service, which was even better than we expected - which is saying something as we had really high expectations!!! Our family and friends can be pretty demanding, and they have all raved about the songs chosen and the calibre of James' singing since the wedding. His Michael Jackson honestly sounds like the real thing in particular!!

We were so pleased with the service he provided as the music for the wedding really made the day spectacular. My only regret is that as the bride, I didn't get more time to say thanks on the day, and that the venue didn't let us go on for longer!
